Theater-Quality Popcorn at the Comforts of Your Home

What is traditionally more craved and appreciated when watching a movie than a cold soft drink and popcorn? The Whirley Pop popcorn popper brings theater popcorn to your kitchen and living room for easy indulgence when you want, not just when the local movie house is open. Microwave popcorn is easily burnt or can leave half the kernels unpopped. Anyone who has guessed incorrectly and discovered that there is an abundance of unpopped kernels can attest that a second attempt at microwaving that bag rarely ends in tasty success. The most effective way to prepare popcorn is by even application of heat, not hoping each kernel will eventually find its way into the heated oil, which is used in any modern popping method.

The hand-crank on the Whirley Pop stovetop popper provides constant and even heating, helping you avoid the unpopped ratio often found in other methods. Because virtually every kernel is popped, you get up to twice as much to enjoy as you often do from that microwaved bag. Take your pick between the red or the stainless steel model, add oil and popcorn per the directions and enjoy marvelous, theater-quality popcorn in only a few moments. The portability and adaptability of this device is handy at home or away: Care for some great popcorn while camping and sharing fish stories. At least everyone will know that your marvelous tasting popcorn story is true!

If there is one food that the Family Man is craving almost all the time, it would be batchoy. La Paz Batchoy or not as long as it is batchoy to him, he would surely have it without second thoughts. Preferably, he would want to have a La Paz Batchoy but since he cannot find any place here in Davao City that offers authentic La Paz batchoy that Ted’s and Deco’s have, he just content himself with what is available but definitely his thirst for the kind of Batchoy he have in his hometown is still and will always be there.

Batchoy is the considered to be a comfort food for most Ilonggos like my husband. La Paz batchoy is usually consists of Miki (fresh egg noodles) with shredded chicken breast, pork intestine and liver, generously topped with chicharon, fried garlic, sliced spring onions, boiled or fresh egg, and the most important ingredient of all is the soup. The broth should be consists of beef and pork buto-buto cooked slowly for hours to be able to get its rich taste.
