You wanted a short, simple, white dress and you had one. Flowers in your hair and pink dresses for the bridesmaids made it all look sweet. Every time someone asks you to tell them about the Palm Beach wedding, you instantly remember it all. It is an amazing feeling to be able to commemorate such events. Thinking about your unique celebration of love is like eating your favorite cupcakes or chocolates. It gives you this extremely delicious emotion, except it has no calories. Isn’t this a lovely thing?
The memory of your wedding, the photographs you now have, the white porcelain set of plates, indicates that you once promised to be always and forever next to your special person. It tells you that for the rest of your life, you have to be with this guy, that’s what you said yes to, that’s why you got married.
The memory of your wedding matters. Do not ever forget about that. Whenever you are fighting, ignoring or being ignored by your spouse; whenever you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long. Remember everything that happened before that “ I do”; remember the wedding.
